Today Dylan made some great progress. He lost a lot of the fluids, which means he was less puffy today. He also lost his chest tube, which is a great sign of progress. He has an iguana from the nurses that also keeps him company in bed.
Today we brought in pictures that the kids made for Dylan. It brightened up things a bit!
It is very hard for us to see Dylan like this. He is sedated but he tries to wake up and move around. All of his nurses have commented on how strong he is and how his little body fights to survive. Hopefully tomorrow he will be ready for the breathing tube to come out. I'm ready to hold my little baby and for him to wake up and look at me!
