Standing and More Test Results

Do you see this???

Mr. Dylan has overcome another huge milestone with his physical development. He can get up to a stand all by himself! He has not had the muscle tone to do this for a while, but with a lot of work and practice, he has figured it out. He is still very wobbly, but the next big step for him is walking!

Here is a video of him in action

And with his new found crawling abilities, he has really come a long way with eating and with "talking" and showing strong opinions. My little sweet content-to-sit baby is changing! And he's really starting to remind me of his big brother when he was a baby - very curious and always on the move. We are just so proud of our little Dylan!

And the last bit of news has to do with more test results. They had processed one of the tests wrong before, so we had to go back in a couple of weeks ago so that they could re-do it. Last week we got a call from the endocrinologist and got his latest analysis. With everything that they have checked and re-checked, he told us that he cannot see anything wrong with Dylan! He doesn't see any abnormalities or defects or anything that would be causing his small stature/growth! They of course want to re-check and re-do everything in a couple of months, but I'm not so sure we will be very anxious to get Dylan back in to put him through all of those needle pokes and proddings again any time soon.

So once again Dylan has proved to us that he is his own little person and is capable, we just need to allow him the time to do things when he is ready to. He is just growing and developing at his own speed and I am happy to let him do that.

Hooray!
