We're so, so proud of this big guy! He's had a big year of learning and growing. He's doing great in preschool and finds a way to keep up with his older siblings. He is independent and determined, and loves to smile and laugh. He is still on the small side, but is growing great and keeping pace with his peers.
My favorite conversation this morning between Dylan and his Daddy:
Daddy: Dylan, you're such a big boy! You're five years old!
Dylan: No, I'm not a big boy.
Daddy: Oh really? Were you a big boy yesterday when you were four?
Dylan: Yes I was a big boy!
Daddy: Well if you're not a big boy anymore, what are you now?
Dylan: I'm an ADULT!
He's been telling me all day about how he doesn't need to sit in a car seat any more, and how he doesn't need to hold my hand in the parking lot any more, and how his muscles are bigger today now that he is five. So obviously this is a big day for him. :)
Happy Birthday Mr. Dylan! You have a big, happy heart and we love you!
